Vibro hammers

Vibro hammers for the efficient vibration and driving of sheet piles, tubular piles, H-beams, and other types of piles.

Vibro hammers for sale

Foundiz offers a wide range of vibro hammers for a variety of foundation techniques. Vibro hammers, also known as vibros, are used for installing and driving sheet piles, tubular piles, H-beams, and concrete piles, as well as for applications involving in-situ pile systems and soil compaction techniques.

Thanks to their versatility, vibro hammers are an efficient solution for a wide range of projects, from inner-city construction sites to heavy-duty infrastructure and offshore applications.

Factors such as soil composition, pile type, and project environment play an important role in selecting the right vibro hammer. Foundiz assists in selecting the right configuration to ensure a feasible and efficient solution with the appropriate vibro hammer for sheet pile and pile applications.

Product Range & Applications

Foundiz supplies various types of vibro hammers, including excavator mounted vibros and sidegrip vibros for excavators, operator-guided vibro hammers, and free suspended vibro hammers, complete with matching power packs. These systems are used for driving steel sheet piles and installing piles and casings in various soil types, tailored to the specific application.

The vibro hammers supplied by Foundiz are sourced from leading manufacturers and are known for their high quality and reliability, even under harsh conditions.

Thanks to their versatility, vibro hammers are suitable for a wide range of applications, from foundation work in urban areas to large-scale infrastructure and offshore projects.

Vibro Hammers (EMV and Sidegrip)

For applications involving excavators, Foundiz supplies excavator mounted vibros, also known as EMVs. For these applications, Foundiz offers the complete product line from Dawson Construction Plant. Dawson EMV vibro hammers are robust, user-friendly, and relatively lightweight.

A special category of excavator mounted vibros is the so-called sidegrip vibro. Sidegrip vibros are equipped with side arms that allow sheet piles or other pile elements to be clamped from the side. In addition to the side arms, sidegrip vibro hammers also feature a sheet pile clamp on the underside. Foundiz supplies the complete range of Movax sidegrip vibro hammers.

In addition, Foundiz offers a variety of adapters and quick-connect couplings to quickly and easily attach the vibro hammer to a wide range of excavator models. This ensures flexibility and rapid deployment on the construction site.

Free suspended vibro hammers and heavy-duty work

For heavier-duty applications, Foundiz supplies free suspended vibro hammers in combination with hydraulic power packs.

These vibro hammers are suitable for installing sheet piles, ranging from light and short sheet piles to large, heavy sheet piles and steel casings. They are used, among other things, in projects where high performance and precision are required, such as along canals and in harbors, as well as in offshore applications for driving steel sheet piles and monopiles.

As an exclusive PTC dealer, Foundiz supplies free suspended vibro hammers with both standard frequency and variable frequency, depending on the application and the desired control during the vibration process.

Vibration Technology and Variable Torque

An important distinction among vibro hammers is the difference between standard frequency and variable frequency.

Vibro hammers with variable torque allow for better control of vibrations, particularly when starting and stopping the vibration process. This is important when working near existing buildings or sensitive structures.

Vibro hammers with a standard frequency are used in applications where maximum force and production are key, such as in heavy sheet pile construction.

Vibroflots and Soil Improvement

In addition to vibro hammers, Foundiz also supplies vibroflots (vibro-lances) from PTC. These systems are used for soil improvement techniques, such as deep compaction and the creation of gravel columns.

These techniques are used in projects where the bearing capacity of the soil needs to be improved, such as in land reclamation or large-scale infrastructure projects.

Support and Advice

What sets Foundiz apart is its combination of supply and technical consulting. Based on a soil report and pile specifications, a drive ability prediction can be performed to determine the appropriate vibro hammer.

In addition, Foundiz provides support for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of vibro hammers. Foundiz’s technical specialists are also available to assist with original parts and service.
