Description

The Dawson hydraulic impact hammers available for rent from Foundiz are specially designed for driving piles in combination with a crane or foundation machine. These impact hammers can be used to drive piles and sheet piles into the ground. The impact hammers are ideal for driving steel pipes, steel sections, and steel sheet piles. In addition to free-suspension use in combination with a crane, the impact hammers can also be used in combination with a foundation rig. If the machine has sufficient pulling capacity, these impact hammers can also be used to drive vibro piles formed in the ground. Furthermore, these Dawson hydraulic impact hammers are exceptionally well-suited for underwater pile driving, where water depths of up to 100 meters—and even deeper—can be achieved.

Benefits

– Robust, reliable, and can be powered by a power pack or a pile-driving rig
– High stroke rate and efficiency ensure fast operation when used in combination with a crane or piling equipment
– Free-hanging impact hammers are supplied as a “plug-and-play” set when used with a power pack
– Remote-controlled operation and impact energy
– Can be used for steel piles, sheet piles, and profiles in combination with special sleeves
– Foundiz also provides drive ability predictions to determine the most suitable impact hammer based on soil investigations and pile specifications
