DCP 4-Cylinder Sheet Pile Driver

The hydraulic sheet pile pressing machines available for rent from Foundiz are specially designed for use in combination with a crane or foundation machine. These pressing machines allow piles and sheet piles to be driven into the ground without vibration or to be extracted by pulling. The foundation elements can be lifted using a chain, grommet, or special lifting tools and then securely gripped by the powerful hydraulic clamping jaws. Once securely clamped, the foundation element can be driven vibration-free into the ground using a substantial downward thrust. When used in a free-hanging configuration on a crane, the thrust block derives its reaction force from the adjacent elements. The hydraulic thrust block can also be used in a foundation rig with a guide rail. Because the pressure block derives part of its force from the adjacent foundation elements, the driving operation can be performed with a standard foundation rig. However, the pressure block must be equipped with a so-called backplate featuring guide rails.
